Hello Sunshine

Hello everyone! Just popping in to send you some sunshine! I have been going through some of my paper, and trying to come up with color combos etc, and im really into the combo, black, yellow, and grey. Im seeing it alot on pinterest as well. I even found in Targets dollar spot some cool yellow, black, grey office goodies, I might incorporate those into a Project Life page, and maybe if i get some time i want to do a mini album in those colors, anyways back to my project.
Nothing better than polka dots!!! I need to find more polka dot paper! I used the sun off the simply charmed cartridge(one of my favs) , cut it in half and popped up the center, distressed the edges and i fell in love!!! my sentiment is computer generated, punched a little heart and added it to the sun , i love how the red/pink color pops against the other colors. And of course white dash lines around the card. This may be a card i need to have more than one of in my stash!

So Glad Its Friday !

Happy Friday Everyone!! This is gonna be a great weekend, cause it leads right into my vacation !!! Cant wait , i have lots of "plans" to craft, and hopefully everything goes as plan! Today i want to share a birthday bouquet and gift card holder i made for a co-workers 30th birthday. I knew her birthday was coming up and i had originally planned to do a candy bar bouquet, but when i found out it was her 30th i knew i wanted to do the "30 sucks" bouquet!!! I seen many pins of this over at Pinterest. For the bottom i used a pail from Targets $ spot, i took a 4in styrofoam ball and wrapped it with tissue paper. Now since i found some paper to match exactly from my DCWV all dressed up stack to make the gift card holder, i didnt want to cover the whole ball so she could see the colors. I topped it with the words 30 sucks that i cut out with my cricut. The gift card holder i used my all time favorite My Creative Times gift card die.{love love love this die} with the DCWV paper. i topped it with a bow an another My Creative times circle / scallop die and sentiment. My co-worker loved it!!!

Simple Birthday Treats

Hello everyone ! I love my new Jaded Blossom kisses stamps!!! when these came out last month i new i had to have them, not only cause of the events we had as a family coming up but how i would use them all the time. One of the ways i knew i would use them is for co-workers birthdays and quick "thinking of you" treats. So simple to put together, and really cute! A 3/4 circle punch works with these stamps perfect!! I also got my treat bags from Jaded Blossom, these bags are so clear and make the kisses sparkle. I topped it off with the circle die and circle punches from My Creative time {another fav place to shop}! I hope the recipient of these chocolates enjoys them...{who doesnt love chocolate}!

Masculine Card ( i think?)

Happy Wednesday Everyone! When i get the chance to make a birthday card for someone 99.5 % of the time its for a female, but when i get that .5% of the time i have to make it for a guy i get stumped!!! I must look through my stash of cardstock to find the manliest paper i can find. Then to decide what will go on front, double stumped ! So after countless page turns of my Cricut handbooks i cam across this image in Birthday Bash. Now it wasnt the main image on the page it was on the Phrase button. So i opened the image in my Gypsy and went to work. I hid parts of the image a few different times in order to cut out the different colors for the owls body, feathers, feet and beak. I think he came out very cute!! Now its almost a few months before i have to make another Masculine card, i better get to my ideas!!!

Wedding Bells

Hi everyone ! I have another card to share with you. I had the honor of being invited to the wedding of my BFF's niece.I wish i could have attended, i really need a trip to my favorite state asap ! I made her this card for her and her new hubby. I tried to keep it as simple as possible. I used the ring set and the Mr and Mrs sentiment in the Sweethearts cart. I embossed the front of the card with my cuttle bug, (i surely cant tell you the folder i used, i dont think i have my cuttlebug folders labled)(maybe one day !) I am really anticipating the wedding pics !!! Cant wait to see them! But of course like always i sent the card late.....( i seriously need an assistant) i hope she enjoys it , and i pray they are blessed with many years of happiness !

Anything But A Card Challenge

Hello everyone!I have been seriously, seriously, neglecting my blog. I have been creating but not posting. ERGGGGH. I have so many projects to post, I better get busy! I wanted to share this centerpiece i created for the Timeless Twine,"Anything but a Card Challenge" the challenge was of course to make anything but a card using twine. I made this centerpiece red white and blue. With Fourth of July next week i thought it would be cute to put this on my table for our BBQ grub! This was my first time making the rosettes and pinwheels. I did not have red or blue buttons so i used some brown ones in my stash and glittered them up. I wrapped red/white twine around the mason jar and the dowels. Little twine bows complete the tulle bows. I was so excited how this turned out!!! I hope you enjoy!!!
